This course is specifically designed to build on the knowledge and skills gained in a Certificate III and to equip you with a complete understanding of how to train and inspire your own clients to achieve optimum results.
You will use a diverse range of equipment, operate in different environments (both indoors and outdoors), and design a number of fitness training programs giving you the experience to hit the ground running when you become a qualified Personal Trainer.
A Certificate IV in Fitness qualifies you to be a Personal Trainer and allows you to achieve the ultimate lifestyle – working with anyone, anywhere, anytime!
Studying a Certificate IV, you will gain experience in a vast range of equipment and environments and design a number of training programs giving you the skills, knowledge and experience you need to be at the top of the industry as a successful, qualified Personal Trainer.
Certificate 4 in Fitness
With certificate III in Fitness being a prerequisite to obtaining the certificate IV in fitness, almost all students choose to complete our specialised Certificate III & IV combined course. This is not only the best way, it’s also the most cost efficient with each course being discounted. This is our signature course and allows our graduates to obtain all the necessary qualifications and skills required to take advantage of any opportunity within the health, fitness and wellness industries.

The Certificate IV also provides all of the foundations you need to pursue further study in the health and fitness industry, including becoming a fully qualified Personal Trainer. After acquiring your Cert IV you will have fulfilled the prerequisite to advance to our PT Diploma course to earn a Diploma of Fitness.
