PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
With almost 25 years in the fitness industry, Coach Jai brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as a trainer, assessor, and coach. His career has spanned personal training, bootcamp instruction, Pilates, and Animal Flow, along with nearly a decade teaching Certificate III & IV in Fitness at the Australian Institute of Fitness.
Jai is also the co-owner of Pilates Utopia Perth, which he runs alongside his best friend, life partner, and wife, Bec. His diverse background and passion for movement allow him to connect with students on many levels, offering both technical expertise and practical real-world insights.
Current Role at NHFA
At NHFA, Jai delivers face-to-face training, assessment, and coaching, facilitating the practical components for students across Western Australia. His goal is to mentor the next generation of fitness professionals, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive in their careers.

Personal Touch
Outside of teaching and training, Jai is a proud husband, dad of five, and granddad of two. He’s also an unapologetic NFL Ravens fan and an occasional gamer when time allows. Family, fitness, and fun remain at the heart of everything he does, both in and out of the classroom.
